• Personal care and chronic disease management – Chronic conditions such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), congestive heart failure (CHF), diabetes, cancer, and stroke can make everyday activities difficult. Open Arms caregivers can assist with day-to-day tasks such as bathing, dressing, medication management, meal preparation, exercise routines, and other needs. We can also monitor seniors for any changes in their conditions, which is vital to preventing hospitalization.
• Dementia and Alzheimer’s in-home care – We have a specialized training program to help our caregivers provide engagement-based daily care and enriching experiences for seniors with dementia or Alzheimer’s.
• Parkinson’s care – We are part of the Struthers Parkinson’s Care Network and utilize its specific training and techniques so our caregivers can provide the safest, best-quality care possible for seniors living with Parkinson’s.
