February's Caregiver of the Month

Open Arms Solutions is proud to congratulate Maricela Martinez as our Caregiver of the Month for February 2019! Maricela has been an extraordinary caregiver for the past 15 years, helping many seniors in their daily lives. She has been caregiving with Open Arms since August 2018 at our office in The Breakers of Edgewater. This month’s nomination came from Maricela’s team at The Breakers: Rachel Marks, Open Arms Nurse Manager, Toni Reyes & Lauren Wazio, Open Arms Care Coordinators. “We nominated Maricela because she has that go get’em attitude and is always willing to go above & beyond with her work,” said Lauren.

Not only does Maricela embody our Core Value of Going Above & Beyond, but she also embodies our Core Value of Teamwork! “She is an exceptional team player. She never hesitates to assist one of her co-workers and is always willing to take on more tasks,” said Toni. Maricela’s character exemplifies incredible work ethic, determination and compassion. “Clients are pleased with her efficient, high quality care she delivers them. She also has the ability to connect with her clients through her compassionate and empathetic demeanor,” said Lauren.

Maricela’s compassionate character is just one of the many attributes that makes her such an incredible caregiver. Her compassion for the clients comes from her passion to help to others, “I like putting a smile on people’s face & making them feel cared for.”
